About Me

I consider myself to be a Bard, although mostly I tell stories through the written word, I do sing, dance and play the tambourine -- sometimes all at once. According to Sidereal astrology I'm a Leo. (Which is where the stars actually are) I follow a Celtic Shaman's path, but I do study Wicca too. I am an ordained Christian Wiccan High priestess. The Spirit is Love and I really love God and Goddess. I believe in Jesus and White Buffalo Calf Woman. OddyseyT when pronounced outloud is Audacity and RavenHawk is my given Native name from the Spirit from my 20s. My religion is Love. When I was a kid I was like a cross between Tom Sawyer and Anne of Green Gables. Those are the kids I identified the most with in books. I consider myself androgynous on the inside and do not understand what it means to feel like a "woman" or feel like a "man" I feel like both, neither, either at any given time. I really can't relate to people that feel one way or the other, but I accept them. I am also bi-romantic demisexual and polyamorous by nature.

“Spock vs. Q” https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/Spock-Vs-Q/Leonard-Nimoy/Alien-Voices/9780743566834 is the late Leonard Nimoy’s (March 26, 1931 - February 27, 2015) magnum opus in my not-so-humble opinion.  Quite frankly I’m surprised that more people have not experienced this incredible performance by these two master actors and characters.  It is an incredible satire and outright hilarious in places and masterfully executed.  Two of my all-time favorite star trek characters (from two different generations of Trek) onstage together at the same time is pure delight.

Spock vs Q is marketed as an “audiobook” but was really a stage performance by the actors John de Lancie and Leonard Nimoy in late 1999 in front of a live audience.  It is available for purchase on many sites that sell audiobooks, including Amazon’s Audible website.  Spock travels back in time and ends up onstage in front of the aforementioned audience and begins by discussing current events, and bound by the prime directive, meanders around the current news.  It isn’t long before Q shows up considering the gravity of the situation that attracted Spock to come to modern day civilization in the first place and a battle of wits ensues between the two regarding the merits and downfalls of human civilization.  The battle of wits involves jokes, riddle contests, and poetry as Spock tries to talk Q into interfering with the asteroid on its way to colliding with the planet.  In the course of the performance, Spock reveals that he does, indeed, have a sense of humor, but that he laughs “on the inside….”

Spock vs Q is a timeless portrayal of the human condition that never gets old.  It has aged so very well and I still recommend it at every available opportunity to others, especially those who enjoy Star Trek.  Everything about this performance is a masterpiece.
